Hon Dr Nick Smith (Minister for
ACC) replied: The ACC Board has invited Dr Barbara Disley, Chair of the
Independent Review Panel, to monitor the development and implementation
of the recommendations in the Panel’s report after six and eighteen
months. The terms of reference are currently being drafted and payment
arrangements negotiated.

Nick Smith (Minister for ACC) replied: In October 2010, ACC paid 47
providers under the Psychiatrist contract for Sensitive Claims. This is
compared to June 2010, when ACC paid 49 providers under the Psychiatrist
contract for Sensitive Claims.
