The current situation is resulting in patients that need counselling often left waiting for months for treatment to be approved, and it's a system that as you'll see in this report, has been labelled a complete failure.

It was really good. Kathryn McPhillips, Clinical manager of the Auckland Sexual Abuse Helpline talks about the changes and a sexual abuse survivor who was sexually abused as a child and says ACC-funded counselling turned her life around talks also.
Yep - the survivor was fab! I wish the explanations about the pathway had been a little clearer though. Putting a link up is on my to-do list :)
