The spirit of the code according to ACC is that they want to have a positive relationship with us as claimants, that the relationship between ACC and claimant is based on respect and trust and that ACC is our partner in the rehabilitation process.
Why then has our rehabilitation partner not made any effort to consult with us about the changes to the current system? ACC must be aware that we read the newspapers, hear the questions in parliament and that this may be unsettling for us as a group, yet we have heard nothing from ACC about the impending changes to the way our service is to be delivered. We have been offered no reassurances.
